Ford RideLondon is the world’s greatest festival of cycling, with more than 20,000 riders will taking on the Ford RideLondon-Essex 100, 60 and 30 challenge rides, as well as the Ford RideLondon FreeCycle and The Ford RideLondon Classique.

Job description
Join our dedicated team where your primary responsibilities will be to support riders in their preparation for their 30, 60 or 100-mile cycle through London and Essex. Working with Event Staff, you'll be managing the entry process for riders into their waves, being on hand to answer questions and provide wayfinding in the start corrals. Embrace the excitement as riders make their final preparations for their ride, taking in some of the capital's most iconic landmarks, on closed roads. Your presence will be instrumental in ensuring a safe and enjoyable for all participants.

What are the shift times? 4am - 10am
Where is it? The Mall, London
What will I be paid? £12.82 - £14.65 per hour (dependant on experience) + 1 hour pay for travel expenses, within 2 weeks of the event.

Is there good public transport links? Yes. Night buses and night tubes will be operating.

Is there bike parking? Yes. There'll be secure cycle parking in the production compound on The Mall.

Is there car parking? No.

Is this role open to anyone? Yes, anyone can apply.

Do I need to bring anything with me? Not at the moment, no. We'll confirm this one closer to the time.

Do I need to have specific experience to apply? No, any customer-facing experience would be great though.

Is there training that needs to be done beforehand? We'll let you know closer to the time for this one.

Is accommodation provided? No.

Is travel reimbursed? Yes, you'l have an extra hour of pay added to your final pay to cover travel expenses.
