We speak to the CEO of the Rugby League World Cup. Taking place in October and November this year it is the largest and most connected Rugby League World Cup ever planned, with the men’s, women’s and wheelchair tournaments all running simultaneously, the first sport outside of the Olympics/Paralympics/commonwealth games to run all three formats alongside each other.

Jon describes the challenges him and his team has faced, the launch of a new innovation academy recruiting students and grads, plus the Power Squad a programme that has seen 2,000 volunteers signed up to support the games.
