About the event
Dress up in lights and join us on Saturday 21st March 2026 in Battersea Park, London to shine a light on blood cancer.

There are 2.5km and 5km routes to choose from, both are accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs.

Job description
We're recruiting for a small team of marshals to support across both routes, including wayfinding, motivation and escalating any problems. Mashals will really bring the buzz to the course, keeping walkers energised and motivated on their way round.

What are the shift times? 15.45pm - 8.45pm
Where is it? Battesea Park, Wandsworth, London
What will I be paid? £13.69 per hour, within 2 weeks of the event

Is there good public transport links? Yes. 

Is there bike parking? Yes - onsite.

Is there car parking? No car park is provided. Nearby on-street parking is available but this cannot be reimbursed.

Are meals provided? No. We recommend bringing enough water to last your shift and all the refreshments you need.

Is this role open to anyone? Yes, anyone can apply. Staff must be happy to dress up in light-up outfits.

Is uniform provided? We'll confirm this soon.

Do I need to bring anything with me? If you own any clothing items that light-up, sparkle or shine, do bring them along!

Do I need to have specific experience to apply? Enthusiam in all weathers is a must!

Is there training that needs to be done beforehand? No, all training will be provided upon arrival.

Is accommodation provided? No.

Is travel reimbursed? No, there is no travel reimbursed for this event.
