Join us for a 10k charity walk starting and finishing at Canons Marsh Amphitheatre in Bristol city centre. The circular route takes in many of Bristol’s famous landmarks, including Harbourside, Queen Square and views of Clifton Suspension Bridge.
Job description
Join our compassionate team as a Route Stewards as the walkers make their way around some of Bristol's most iconic landmarks. Your role will be to motivate participants along the route, offering encouragement and assistance as needed. Embrace the opportunity to support walkers in their journey through the heart of Bristol, ensuring a memorable and rewarding experience for all while contributing to the mission of the charity. When is it? Saturday, 5th of October 2024
What are the shift times? 9 am to 4 pm
Where is it? Canons Marsh Amphitheatre, Bristol
What will I be paid? £12.82 per hour + 1 hr on top to help with your travel expenses, within 2 weeks of the event

Is there good public transport links? Yes
Is there bike parking? Yes, on-street cycle parking is available.
Is there car parking? Parking is not provided. There'll be limited on-street parking available. This is not reimbursable.
Are meals provided? No. We recommend bringing enough water to last your shift and all the refreshments you need.
Is this role open to anyone? Yes, anyone can apply.
Is uniform provided? A t-shirt will be provided to you. The rest of your clothing must be comfortable and weather appropriate.
Do I need to bring anything with me? No.
Do I need to have specific experience to apply? No, any customer-facing experience would be great though.
Is there training that needs to be done beforehand? No, all training will be provided upon arrival.
Is accommodation provided? No.
Is travel reimbursed? Yes, one hour will be added towards your final shift length to help cover your transport costs.
