Is this role open to anyone? Yes, anyone can apply.
Is uniform provided? Yes, you'll be given a t-shirt and baseball cap and this must be worn as the outermost layer. You're recommended to wear sensible, comfortable shoes as you'll be on your feet all day. Open-toed shoes are not allowed. Do I need to bring anything with me? Roles throughout the day will be varied and some roles will be course-based. For these, you're recommended to bring a camping chair if you'd like one, as one won't be provided. You can also bring along a wireless (waterproof!) speaker if you want to spruce up your time marshalling on the incredible course.
You should also bring extra snacks to keep you going through the day; a thermos or flask to fill-up at the volunteer/staff tent and keep with you; and food/refreshments if you have any dietary requirements (vegetarian and some vegan/gluten free options will be available)
Do I need to have specific experience to apply? No, any customer-facing experience would be great though - all we need is for you to be energetic (don't worry, you won't be taking part), adaptable and infectious smile.
